Synchronised-tilt mazes ☕
These tilt puzzles each consist of a tilt maze containing two large sliding blocks, one red and one blue. The challenge is to manoeuvre the sliding blocks so that they simultaneously come to rest on their target positions, which are marked as smaller squares.
The red block must reach the red target and the blue block the blue target. Beware! The two blocks are made of highly reactive material and will instantly evaporate if they collide. At that point you must start all over again.
Aim
The red block must reach the red target and the blue block the blue target.

The photo on the right shows a mechanical version of a Tilt Puzzle designed by Oskar. It is an implementation of the Side Step (5x5) design. The collision feature is missing in this version as Oskar could not obtain sufficient amounts of anti-matter.
Janko's Kipplabyrinthe
At Janko Otto's website there is an extensive range of Kipplabyrinthe (tilt puzzles and mazes). All presented in HTML5 so playable on touch-sensitive devices. The instructions are in german but you can click top-left to translate to english or another language and then return to the previous page to play. My favourite are by Ishihama Yoshiaki:
- 2-Ball tilt-mazes: two red balls and two red goals
- 2-Ball tilt-mazes: swap red and green
- 3-Ball tilt-mazes: three red balls and three red goals
- 4-Ball tilt-mazes: rearrange red/blue/green/yellow
